Hosted by IPRA's Recreation (REC) Section, Supervisor Symposium celebrates its 25th year in providing students and professionals in parks, recreation, conservation, and forest preserves a curriculum that builds a strong foundation of basic skills needed to obtain and succeed at a supervisory position. New and partially-seasoned professionals (and students) will be provided with opportunities to learn skills and emerging trends that can be implemented immediately at their agency. Come build your network and join other professionals aspiring to be a more effective supervisor and leader in the industry. Full-time collegiate students with an active IPRA Student Membership can attend this event for FREE.  

Who Should Attend: Park and recreation, conservation, and forest preserve district professionals that work with or oversee recreation programming and/or facilities.

Food & Beverage:  Registration includes a taco bar lunch featuring barbacoa, chicken tinga, pork carnitas, red rice, refried beans, and mexican street corn.  Please be sure to designate any dietary restrictions upon registration in the field provided.

Cancellations: Refunds will be issued to requests received on or before April 3, 2026 less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 3, 2026.

CEUs: Event has been approved for up to 0.4 CEUs and will only be awarded to those in live attendance for the duration of the event.  (Continued Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP and CTRS).
