Lunch & Learn - How Cellular Geo Fencing is Changing 911 Response for the Better!

Description

911 tools are helping first responders quickly and accurately help citizens in an emergency situation. One specific solution, 911 Inform, helps responders locate and accurately deal with a variety of emergency situations. 911 is no longer just a phone call and a prayer for emergency crew responses. By using special software, GPS and smartphones, organizations can create a cohesive visual footprint of their park district property for all responders to utilize. This footprint, also known as a ‘Geo Fence’ captures critical visual information your leaders can use to pinpoint trouble, report and dispatch appropriate help for the situation. Presented by Rob McCoy, President and Founder of RAM Communications Inc, this session will discuss how 911 software creates time savings and better information to help saves lives and keep your patrons safe.



Who Should Attend: Practitioners interested in having a better understanding of common emergencies and how new 911 software applications can be used to aid responders in each one.


How to Participate: The event will take place live via Zoom Webinar. Participants will receive a Zoom join link after the registration deadline passes.
